MultiStop Setup & Instructions

Welcome to the official setup and instruction page for the MultiStop™ Depth Stop System.

MultiStop Quick Installation Guide

Overview

The MultiStop™ is a precision depth stop for oscillating tools. It helps control cutting depth and prevents damage to materials behind your cut.

Compatibility

The included blades are specifically manufactured for use with the MultiStop™. They feature a split-blade design with a center groove to increase strength to the depth stop and ensure proper performance.

Setup Steps

1. Apply Anti-Seize

Apply the included copper anti-seize to each set screw to help prevent galling.

2. Install on Blade

Slide the MultiStop™ onto the blade and position it to your desired cutting depth.

3. Align & Tighten

While tightening, ensure the blade on either side of the notch is evenly aligned. Hand tighten all four set screws evenly. You can hold the MultiStop block steady with an adjustable wrench while tightening the screws with a hex key wrench.

DO NOT use an impact wrench to tighten.

The MultiStop is designed for use across a wide range of materials, including:

Conduit containing wire

Drywall with unknown materials behind it

Plywood

Any non-metal material where you’re unsure of what’s behind the cut

Safety Notice

The custom MultiStop blades are not recommended for cutting metal

The aluminum body may become hot during use. Allow the tool to cool before handling or adjusting.

Blade Safety Warning

Do not attempt to modify or use non-MultiStop blades with this product.

Standard blades are not designed to handle the forces created by the depth stop and may break or malfunction.

Only use blades specifically engineered for the MultiStop to ensure safe and reliable performance.

  • Always unplug or remove the battery before adjusting the MultiStop.
  • Wear safety glasses and gloves while operating the saw.
  • Inspect the MultiStop and blade before each use for damage.
  • Do not force the saw — let the blade do the cutting.
